Team, after Donald Trump signed an Executive Order to DEFUND NPR and PBS, NPR is OFFICIALLY fighting back.
In their lawsuit, they claim that Trump violated the First Amendment, stating: “The President has no authority under the Constitution to take such actions…On the contrary, the power of the purse is reserved to Congress.”
This new lawsuit comes after months of MAGA attacks on vital news organizations like NPR – from Elon Musk demanding they be defunded, to Marjorie Taylor Greene attacking their leadership in front of her DOGE subcommittee.
But it’s clear: this fight is far from over – and Donald Trump and his cronies won’t back down until federal funding for NPR and PBS is ZEROED OUT.
