Ottawa County Unemployment Rate for April 2025

Preliminary unemployment rates for April 2025 were recently released by the Michigan Department of Technology, Management, and Budget. Ottawa County had an unemployment rate of 4.0%, a 0.6% reduction from March’s rate of 4.6%.

Ottawa County had the same unemployment rate as Washtenaw County, with both counties having the fifth lowest rate of all Michigan counties in April. Across Michigan, Livingston County had the lowest April unemployment rate at 2.7%. Mackinac County had the highest rate at 17.9%.
