Honor Our Fallen Heroes on Memorial Day
Our freedom is not free, so many had made ultimate sacrifice for it. Look at this heartbroken picture. We shall never forget our fallen heroes and their families.

We should not engage in endless foreign wars. War should be a last resort after exhausting all other options. Here is my foreign policy statement on my website: Issues - Lily Tang Williams for Congress
John and I paid our respect to his ancestors buried in Charlestown NH.
His mothers’ side family came to US on the Mayflower. Later at the start of the French and Indian War, one of his relatives, Susannah Willard Johnston was sheltering at Fort #4 in Charlestown New Hampshire when kidnapped by an Abenaki war party allied with the French. On a forced march to Quebec to be sold to the French, she delivered a baby, which she named Elizabeth Captive Johnson. Years later she wrote of her experience and published a book about her experience, which you learn about here.
Susannah's husband James Johnston and family fought in the revolutionary war. Each year before Memorial Day, Charlestown puts a flag and medallion on each soldier’s grave who fought in the revolutionary war to honor our heroes.
My mother-in-law is a member of Daughters of Revolution (DAR). What a family I married into!
