Gerry Connolly is the Ranking Member of the House Oversight Committee and a Democratic member of Congress representing Virginia’s 11th District, located in Northern Virginia. Gerry and his wife Smitty have lived in Fairfax since 1979 and have one daughter, Caitlin. Gerry previously served as the Chairman of the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors. In Congress, Gerry has worked continuously to grow Northern Virginia’s economy, to ensure a world-class education system, and to preserve Social Security and Medicare.
