Saturday, I was in the ICU and on a Ventilator in Dallas but… God is good and I am home in Tulsa today!
I was traveling Saturday morning and collapsed at the DFW airport (there is a miracle story here that I will share soon about me not making my other flight to NYC).
I was taken to the hospital for an emergency surgery in Dallas which went smooth but there developed a complication during the surgery.
I became unable to breathe properly on my own so I was placed on a ventilator and taken in the ICU where I was unresponsive for the evening.
After several hours in the ICU, my friend, John Killian, drove from Tulsa to Dallas and showed up at the hospital and his voice woke me up which totally surprised the doctors and nurses because up to that point I was totally unresponsive and still not breathing properly.
I think there might be a sermon somewhere in there about the importance of a friend.
Long story short, I am well and recovering and no longer in a hospital in Dallas.
So many have reached out and offered support and prayer.
Thank you all so much!
