This Memorial Day, I’m remembering the brave service members who gave their lives in defense of our country — and holding close the families and loved ones they left behind.
In San Diego, we know firsthand the depth of sacrifice that military service can require. I hope you’ll join me in taking a moment today to honor those who died in service to our country.
We can never fully repay the debt we owe.
But we can honor our fallen heroes by supporting today’s military families and veterans — and by working to make sure every person who serves this country is treated with dignity, respect, and care.
