As we gather this Memorial Day, my thoughts turn to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom.
Fellow American,

As we gather this Memorial Day, my thoughts turn to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our freedom. As the son of a United States Marine, I grew up with a deep understanding of what it means to serve and the weight carried by those who wear the uniform. Our fallen heroes embody the courage and selflessness that define America, giving their lives to protect the values we hold dear. Their sacrifice is a solemn reminder of the cost of liberty and the strength of our nation’s spirit.

The sacrifices of our service members ripple beyond the battlefield, touching the lives of the friends and families who bear the burden of their absence. These families—parents, spouses, children—carry the legacy of their loved ones with quiet resilience, as they navigate the pain of loss. Memorial Day calls us to honor not only those who fell but also the families who live with their sacrifice every day.

Today, we reflect on the deep commitment to our nation’s values that drove our service members to stand in harm’s way. Their sacrifice reminds us to cherish the freedoms we enjoy and to never take them for granted.

As we pause to remember, let’s commit to keeping the memory of our fallen alive through our actions. Let’s support their families, strengthen our communities, and work toward a nation worthy of their sacrifice. This Memorial Day, may we honor our heroes by living with the same resolve and unity they exemplified.

With deepest respect,
