This Memorial Day, I want to honor the brave individuals who gave their lives in service to our country. Their courage and sacrifice inspire me deeply, and we will always remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, along with the families who carry their legacy forward.

My grandfathers proudly served in our nation’s armed forces during World War II. Their commitment to our country is something I carry with me every day.

As I reflect on their service and sacrifices, I’m also committed to ensuring that the office of the Comptroller can continue to support veterans, service members, and their families here in Maryland. In doing so, we can honor their service to our country.
