Trump has already cut 10% of the agency’s workforce, and is considering firing thousands more of the critical workers who manage our forests and reduce the risk of wildfires.

This is unconscionable: Trump’s mass layoffs are coming right as the summer wildfire season is just around the corner. And at a time when climate change is accelerating the pace of wildfire damage each year, we need more dedicated staff working to prevent these deadly blazes—not less.
