John, voting is our most important right as Americans — “the right that protects all the others,” as Lyndon Johnson famously said when he signed the Voting Rights Act into law.

It’s no surprise then that extreme forces have spent decades attempting to systematically undermine this right. Whether it's through onerous voting requirements, partisan gerrymanders, or attempting to use courts to invalidate legitimate election results, the goal is the same — to cling to power by any means necessary.

Our grassroots movement is working across the country to secure fairness in our democracy and ensure every American has an equal say in our government. And we know what it takes to get it done: When we work together, we win.

That’s why today, I’m personally asking you to make a donation to All On The Line to power the movement for a fairer, stronger democracy — this work could not be more essential in the months and years ahead. DONATE → [link removed]

There’s a reason I say there is no “off year” in the fight for fair electoral maps — the work we’re doing today is critical to advancing the fight for our democracy this year, in 2026, 2028, and beyond:

→ Our affiliate, the National Redistricting Foundation, is actively involved in court cases that could affect the makeup of up to eight congressional districts — where we must make sure voters are fairly represented. Those outcomes could determine the majority in the House of Representatives.

→ We’re preparing to stop efforts by extreme partisan actors to steal congressional seats through extreme gerrymandering — including in Ohio, where leaders are expected to draw new congressional maps this year.

→ And we must stay ready to protect the 2030 Census from efforts to tamper with it, to ensure an accurate count and fair representation. Last time around, the Trump administration went out of its way to undermine the census. We fought back and won, and we’re prepared to do it again.

John, we need you with us every step of the way. Will you make a donation to All On The Line today? → [link removed]

Sincerely,

Eric H. Holder, Jr.
82nd Attorney General of the United States
