The Governor signed groundbreaking legislation to secure long-term funding for summer learning programs. This will boost academic outcomes, support mental health and well-being, and close achievement gaps in our state.




Oregon gets recognized for its energy efficiency!

Oregon ranked in the top ten of the American Council for an Energy-Efficient Economy's 2025 scorecard, noting our energy-focused incentives that will help us reach our climate and clean energy goals.

Governor Kotek declared May 5 as Missing or Murdered Indigenous Persons Awareness Day.

Governor Kotek took action to recognize Indigenous people who have been taken from their families. She is committed to addressing this crisis, and we hope you all join her every May 5 in the years to come.




Governor Kotek joined volunteers in a park cleanup for Earth Day.

Governor Kotek, with a reflective vest and trash grabber, joined volunteers at Wallace Marine Park in an Earth Day cleanup! Our Earth needs love and care 365 days a year, so don’t wait to get involved in protecting our environment.
