Elise Provides Deciding Vote for One Big Beautiful Bill, Unlocking President Trump’s America First Agenda

This week, the House Republicans worked nonstop for the American people and passed the One Big Beautiful Bill, an historic piece of legislation that will bring about President Trump’s Golden Age of America for generations to come.

Elise is proud to stand with President Trump and serve this Great Nation.

Elise stated —

“I was proud to be the deciding vote to pass the One Big Beautiful Bill, a historic victory for New Yorkers and President Trump's America First agenda.

More than 77 million Americans gave House Republicans and President Trump a mandate to cut taxes, secure our borders, restore energy independence, and deliver peace through strength.

This legislation includes key provisions that will benefit hardworking New York families. I was especially proud to work with my New York Republican colleagues to lead on delivering significant tax relief for New Yorkers by increasing the State and Local Tax cap by 300% – a win for hard working families struggling under the weight of the highest tax burden in the nation because of Gov. Kathy Hochul's failed Far Left tax and spend Democrat policies.

Some additional provisions include:

Delivering the largest tax cut in American history, No tax on tips and no tax on overtime, Protecting Medicaid for Americans by removing 1.4 million illegals, Making permanent President Trump’s border security, Modernizing air traffic control, Ending taxpayer-funded sex changes for minors, Delivering tens of billions of dollars in expanded ICE detention and calls for hiring a minimum of 10,000 new ICE agents, Including $25 billion for President Trump’s Golden Dome, a layered missile defense shield for America, Holding woke, elite universities accountable by increasing the university endowment tax and subjecting the largest endowments to the corporate tax rate, Reversing Joe Biden’s EV mandates and CAFE standards for passenger cars and light trucks,

I urge the Senate to immediately pass our historic legislation to enact the One Big Beautiful Bill and ring in the Golden Age of America."

Elise Statement on the Tragic Murder of Two Young Israeli Embassy Staffers

An innocent young couple, soon to be engaged in Jerusalem, were tragically murdered on the streets of our nation’s capital on Wednesday by a pro-Hamas terrorist. Our nation mourns the loss of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Lynn Milgrim, two young Israeli Embassy staffers who had such bright futures cut short by this evil antisemitic terrorist. We pray for their loss and their families in this most heartbreaking time of unimaginable pain.

Elise stated –

“Horrific. The shooting outside the Jewish Museum in Washington, D.C. is a heinous act of antisemitic murder and terrorism. U.S. law enforcement must use every tool at its disposal to investigate and prosecute these evil criminals. The U.S. must continue to stand with our most precious ally Israel and work to eradicate this vile antisemitism raging in our streets and around the world.”

Elise Attends the Schoharie County Annual GOP Lincoln Day Dinner

Recently, Elise attended the Annual GOP Lincoln Day Dinner in Schoharie County, where she served as the Keynote Speaker. The attendees were fired up and excited to get to work all over New York and the North Country to fire Kathy Hochul in 2026!

Elise stated –

“Packed house at the Olde Tater Barn in Schoharie County for the Annual GOP Lincoln Day Dinner! Thank you to America’s Assemblyman Chris Tague for the incredible event and honor of serving as the Keynote Speaker. Appreciate county committees coming from all across Upstate. Elise Supports DOJ Investigation Into Disgraced Former Governor Andrew Cuomo

This week, the U.S. Department of Justice launched an investigation into former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s fatal nursing home executive order and cover-up.

Elise stated —

"This is a long-awaited and important step for much-needed accountability for New Yorkers. The Department of Justice investigation of disgraced former Governor Andrew Cuomo for his fatal nursing home executive order, cover-up, and lies to Congress is a much-needed step toward justice for the more than 15,000 New York seniors who lost their lives. This is also incredibly important for the families who have advocated tirelessly on behalf of their loved ones.

For years, I led the charge to deliver answers and accountability for the heartbroken families across New York who lost loved ones because of Cuomo’s criminal corruption. From calling for independent federal investigations as early as 2020, to advocating to the DOJ and HHS alongside my New York Republican colleagues, to leading tough questions during a transcribed interview with Cuomo in June 2024, I have never wavered in my commitment to these grieving families.

The bombshell revelations of Cuomo’s administration intentionally withholding nursing home death data, as admitted by his senior aides, and his refusal to accept responsibility for the deadly March 25, 2020, directive that forced nursing homes to accept COVID-positive patients, represent a betrayal of public trust at the highest levels. His attempts to stonewall Congress and peddle lies to cover up this tragedy only deepen the pain of New Yorkers who deserve transparency and justice.

I will continue to fight tirelessly on behalf of New York families who have suffered unimaginable loss to ensure that Cuomo faces the full legal consequences of his actions and that such a tragedy is never repeated.

The day of reckoning is here, and I will not rest until justice is served for the people of New York."

Elise Receives Yeshiva University’s Presidential Medallion for Global Leadership Award

This week, Elise was honored to attend Yeshiva University’s 2025 Commencement Ceremony in New York City. Elise delivered a commencement address to the graduating class and was awarded the Presidential Medallion for Global Leadership Award for her work in Congress fighting antisemitism in the U.S. academic system.

Elise stated –

“I am honored to receive the Presidential Medallion for Global Leadership award and deliver a commencement address to Yeshiva University.

Congratulations to all of the graduates and remember: May Hashem bless the work of your hands. May He illuminate your path. And may He grant you the strength to be proud Jews and compassionate citizens in our great country.”

Elise Demands Transparency from Harvard Over Alarming Ties to Chinese Communist Party, Iran

Earlier this week, Elise, along with Rep. John Moolenaar and Rep. Tim Walberg, issued a formal request to Harvard University seeking internal records and correspondence related to the school’s ties with foreign adversaries.

Elise issued the following statement upon demanding transparency from Harvard University President Alan Garber, regarding evidence of repeated interactions and collaborations between Harvard faculty and Chinese Communist Party (CCP) entities.

Elise stated –

“Harvard University must be held accountable. I demand full transparency and immediate cooperation with the Select Committee’s investigation. We must ensure that no American institution enables the CCP’s military modernization or the Iranian regime’s technological ambitions — especially under the guise of academic exchange.

Harvard University’s actions represent a grave betrayal of the American people, our national security, and the foundational values of academic responsibility. Any institution of higher education that accepts taxpayer support must uphold the laws of our nation, protect our national interests, and act ethically. Harvard's alleged conduct — including training members of a sanctioned Chinese paramilitary group and conducting joint research with Iran-backed and PLA-linked institutions — raises serious legal, moral, and national security concerns.These actions appear to directly contradict U.S. sanctions law, and they may have actively aided genocidal actors and hostile foreign militaries.”

Earlier this week, Elise appeared on Fox Business’s Mornings With Maria with Maria Bartiromo to discuss President Trump’s big beautiful bill, Communist Chinese and Iranian collaboration with Harvard, and the need to FIRE Kathy Hochul to Save New York!

On the Big, Beautiful Bill, Elise stated –

“What I believe is most important is President Trump's agenda. This is our one opportunity to deliver for the American people. We need to see that as the result. So this is about extending tax cuts. It's no tax on tips, no tax on Social Security, unleashing American energy independence and securing the border once and for all, which President Trump has done by executive action, but we need to compact that and provide the federal funding to do so. That is what this is about. And these details, while they are important, we need to not let them get in the way from delivering on this for the American people.”

On Harvard's ties to the Chinese Communist Party and Iran, else stated –

"It is deeply, deeply disturbing, Maria, and this is an area where I have led in terms of oversight and accountability these pirates of higher ed and institutions that have lost their way. We spent a lot of time talking about US taxpayer dollars, but what I'm deeply concerned about is these partnerships. In addition to the abuse of US taxpayer dollars, it's partnerships with our adversaries. By law, these universities have to disclose that to the Department of Education. My concerns are that they have not abided by the law and that they are pursuing partnerships with adversaries, whether it's the Iranian regime or whether it's Communist China. This is not who we are. This is one of the reasons why Secretary McMahon's actions to defund and pull back those federal dollars is so incredibly important. This is a national security risk for our country and for our next generation of students. So we're going to continue to holding these university’s feet to the fire to answer these questions and make sure that this foreign influence from adversaries, that this infiltration of our higher education, higher education institutions, does not continue."
