I write to you today with exciting news!!!

Good morning!

We lucked out and finally found a place that works perfectly for my needs.

It's completely accessible. No steps. No carpeting. A smooth entry into the front door. A PATIO!!! In the kitchen is a large island with room for stools, an ideal spot for me to sit while prepping food. A stove that isn't a glass top, so I can do some canning! It's in a pretty complex with nice landscaping and smooth sidewalks, a perfect place for getting around without my poor daughter feeling the need to hover like a loving helicopter mom. It is a reasonable distance from my doctor and my physical therapist, and also quite near Walmart, Target, and a whole host of grocery stores.

Is it prepper heaven, with room for a large garden, some chickens, and space from the neighbors? Nope. But for this point in my life, when I am undergoing heavy rehab and need to finally have an easy place to move around, it's absolutely ideal. Being more independent, for me, is prepper heaven and my road to dealing better with this disability.

I'll have a sunny patio with bird feeders, windchimes, and one of those swinging egg chairs. There's a place for my many beloved books, travel photos, and space for an office so I can really get back to work. I'm happier than a puppy with two tails.

The only problem? We have to move in about a month ahead of schedule. Like, in two weeks!

I would've been more comfortable saving up for another month, but the "perfect" apartment for someone with mobility issues doesn't come available every day. Even better, it's priced at $200 a month below the rent we'd planned for. It feels like a gift from above, like it's meant to be.

But moving is EXPENSIVE, especially when I cannot help with moving furniture and heavy boxes. We've got to rent a moving truck, hire someone to give us a hand with the big stuff, get our things from my daughter's apartment and my storage unit, and get this done fast.

I'd love it if you could help me move. No aching back, no slugging boxes, no packing or unpacking - just check out my absolutely epic sale, with prices starting as low as $5.

I’m offering truly valuable products for the very lowest prices they’ve ever been at to help us both – great info for you and a new, accessible home for me!

Thank you in advance for your support!

We've been out touring apartments all last week. We found a really nice one that was too much money. Another nice one that was surrounded by beautiful shade trees, but it was just so dark inside. One that we turned around and walked out of the second we saw dead bugs in it. One that faced a busy street. Another that was nice and within budget but had 4 steps up to the door. It was a LOT of limping around for me, and today, I am WIPED OUT. So much pain and swelling, (cry face) but it had to be done.

I have a delightful day planned. You'll find me sitting in front of the air conditioner with my foot up on a pillow, doing the NYT Sunday Crossword, then reading a mystery novel from the library. Later, my daughter and I plan to watch the new(ish) Deadpool and Wolverine movie and eat popcorn. It feels like the perfect day for these circumstances.

It's about time I had some really good news to share in this letter. Thank you guys for being behind me every step of the way on this journey. I couldn't have done any of it without you.

Stay safe.

Be happy.

Love,

Daisy
