Comm 61:

On This Very Special Memorial Day

American Christians: What Warriors! What a Hope for All!

This Memorial Day, we remember the brave warriors who fought to preserve our liberty. Their wounds on the battlefield echo a modern battlefield against an internal enemy that has sought to silence the Church and bend our youth against a righteous nation.

Some surprising warriors of the new battlefield are our young, who now are veterans of an anti-American onslaught and are vanquishing it. They’re tough, they won’t stand to be lied to, they want to read the Bible. Who are they? They are the Millenials, ages 27 to 45 who are standing up against being bent, and reaching for Church and the Word.

They are an emerging group of thinkers and leaders who are waking up to the fact that a ‘woke’ delusion has been woven around them from their first years and now are throwing it off. They are the new American Christians who join in with fresh strong voices. They are looking for you to tell them more.

Here are Chad, Joan, Kielle, and Brad to lay it out for you:

My very warmest greetings to you, our precious pastors.

Joan Lindsey here, and really glad to have a minute with you to join Kielle, Brad, and Chad in honoring Memorial Day, and highlighting new warriors; Millennials.

Ages 27 to 45, just think how young they were when Donald Trump came down the elevator in 2015 to say he was running for President, and the media exploded in fear and loathing.

They were ten years younger, many still in high school. So, for a huge chunk of their short lives, they have seen the media try to destroy the man who was, and once again is, our nation’s President.

These left-leaning media outlets have said they think bias is fine, because it discredits Trump, lies don’t matter if they discredit Trump; turning a blind eye to graft, fomenting violence, and shielding corruption is all justified because it hurts Trump, who likes the Constitution and supports our faith. That’s what’s wrong -- they don’t.

Their unreasoned hatred is, in my view, demonic and it is so off the rails now that it has finally turned off our nation’s budding leaders; the Millennials.

The Millennials are NOT the Boomers, those Watergate birthed investigative journalists who flooded our journalism schools to bust the lid off authority. Whether truth was told, or not so much. Schools, government, and the Church were their targets and since the 1970s our nation has suffered them.

But our next wave of young leaders likes truth, real truth. They want to know what is real. They know too much about the left’s version and don’t like the media manipulation.

They’ve been gaslit by polls that declare the progressive left as most popular, but the polls are wrong using warped sampling. (Victor Davis Hanson “How Pollsters Rig the Numbers Against Trump.”) Millennials are turning to pro-American conservatism in droves.

Young leaders like Vice President J.D. Vance who just turned 40, and Vivek Ramaswamy who is 38, have a strong thirst for freedom. Freedom to find what is true, put God in the public square, and direct their own children’s growing years.

They will fight to tell the truth, like 27-year-old swimmer Riley Gaines who knew it was wrong to be forced to compete against a biological male.

They like common sense ruling government, like Ron DeSantis, who became Florida’s governor at just 40, and laughed at the media critics.

And they’ll step up to lead when they know what is right, like Brandon Gill from Texas, who won a congressional seat and is just 31.

Significantly, Congressman Gill founded an online newspaper, the D.C. Enquirer, in his mid-20s. He is a media guy, one of thousands of truth-seeking journalists.

The old Watergate group loved to shape the news. The Millennials want to simply report it. They like truth, and respect the role faith plays in our country. They bear the wounds of a hostile war for their minds. They are prevailing, and they love this nation!

They are growing in force and number, this huge group of young leaders - a fresh new American voice for the nation and the Church.
