John, According to our calculations, the 119th Congress, which started at the beginning of January 2025, has only passed seven bills through both chambers that need the President’s signature. Now, here's the really infuriating part: Using just congressional salaries alone (not staff or overhead operations), you and I have paid the politicians on Capitol Hill $15,604,166.66 per passed bill! Of course there are other bills that may eventually pass both chambers. But the fact remains that Congress works only a few days per week. The American people are fed up. Well over 90% of members of Congress will still be reelected no matter what . . . . . . and we need term limits!
