Dear friends,
Since October 2023, the Gaza Strip has become the world's largest graveyard for journalists.
Almost 200 Palestinian journalists have been killed by the Israeli army, including at least 44 slain while doing their job or because of their profession. Others have been severely injured, censored, threatened, and permanently, forcibly displaced.
In Gaza, journalists are trapped without equipment or electricity, and their homes are often destroyed. There are fewer and fewer media professionals left to document crimes and inform the world about the impunity that has persisted for over a year and a half.
This is not just an attack on journalists; it is an attack on our right to be informed.
To stop the massacre of journalists in Gaza, we need you to sign our latest petition.
This petition demands:
* an immediate end to attacks against journalists in Gaza,
* the blockaded territory be opened to foreign media,
* an end to the impunity for crimes committed against journalists by the Israeli army.

Without freedom of the press, there is no truth. Without truth, there is no end to conflicts.
Your signature matters. Your voice can help protect those who inform us and, through their essential work, all civilians.
Thank you for your commitment,
Reporters Without Borders (RSF) team
