  • SCOTUS yesterday permitted President Donald Trump to fire two independent board members without just cause as litigation continues. The decision clears the way for challenges to 90 years of legal precedent on agency independence. 

Georgia county rejects election deniers to local board of elections

  • The Fulton County, Georgia Board of Commissioners voted to reject the nominations of two prominent election deniers to the county board of elections. Before voting, one board member said, “It’s not possible to work with folks trying to sow discord.”
