It has been a busy week at Earthjustice offices around the country. Before we head into the weekend, I wanted to highlight three of our major fights: protecting public lands and waters, the rule of law, and the future of electric vehicles. |
First: Trump’s budget is disastrous for hundreds of reasons, including proposals to sell out our public lands and waters to corporate interests. Earthjustice and our supporters are urging members of Congress to vote no on the budget. Read more: |

Second: Senate Republicans abused the Congressional Review Act to overturn California and 11 other states’ zero-emissions car and truck standards. It’s a blow to electric vehicle adoption and a win for the oil industry. Earthjustice attorney Adrian Martinez has fought against big oil — and for an electric future — over 20 years. Third: Yesterday, Earthjustice sued to protect billions in funding for electric vehicle charging infrastructure across the country. The heatmap below shows how much funding states stand to lose per capita. Read more: |
