We recently held 7 town halls in Congressional Districts represented by
Republicans – from Amarillo and Wichita Falls to Garland and Fort Bend
County.

Nobody at those meetings stood up and asked for their representative to
take food away from kids, kick millions of families off their health care,
jack up our costs, or close down more of our rural hospitals in the least
insured state in the nation.

Yet every Texas Republican in the House just cruelly voted to do so
anyway, and our senators are giddy to do the same.

Why? By hurting our neighbors and communities, they can once again give
away our tax dollars to their billionaire donors, the wealthiest
corporations, and Trump’s favorite oligarchs.

What do we do about it? We fight back. We organize everywhere, contest
every race up and down the ballot, and do the work to win political power.
Texas can help take back the House, flip the Senate, check Trump, and
deliver a government that delivers for the people.
