A Republican hasn’t won the White House without first winning the state of Florida in almost 100 years.
And Trump’s campaign in particular knows they have to hold on to the Sunshine State -- or else face near-certain defeat at the hands of Joe Biden.
Which is why it must have hurt when Trump and his allies read the poll published by Republican firm Cygnal -- the one that shows Biden leading Trump in Florida by 3 points.
It looks like Florida voters are rejecting Trump along with the rest of the country. But the state has a Republican governor -- who Florida’s GOP spokeswoman says is “committed to delivering Florida to the President.” We don’t like the sound of that. Do you?
