This week, House Republicans passed one of the most dangerous bills I’ve seen in my time in Congress — and I need to be honest with you about what’s in it.

They gave Donald Trump exactly what he asked for: “one big beautiful bill.” But it’s not beautiful. It’s devastating.

They voted to cut Medicaid, slash Medicare, kick 16 million people off health care, gut food assistance, and raise grocery bills, tuition, utility costs, and taxes for working families — just to hand billions in tax breaks to the ultra-rich and giant corporations.

It’s cruel. It’s corrupt. And it’s exactly why we have to win back the House.

In Maine alone, 50,000 people stand to lose their health care. Rural hospitals could close. Seniors and nursing homes are at risk. And 400,000 Mainers could see their lives upended because of the greed of a handful of ultra-rich elites.

All while this bill adds $4 trillion to the national debt. Make it make sense.

This is what we’re up against: a Republican Congress that does Trump’s bidding — no matter the cost to working people.

I’m doing everything I can to fight this bill in Washington. But I can’t do it alone.

If we’re going to hold Trump and his enablers accountable, if we’re going to stop this radical agenda, then we have to take back the House. And to do that, we need to build the grassroots campaign that can get us there.
