Trump is planning a $45 million military parade for his birthday. Tanks
will roll through the streets of the capital. Soldiers will march.
Military planes will fly over D.C.^1
This is not supposed to happen in a democracy. This is what dictators do.
Congress has the power to block funding for this dangerous military show.
As the White House defies the courts and breaks the law, it’s critical
that our elected leaders stop such a grotesque, tank-filled parade
celebrating Trump.

Trump will be using 7,000 soldiers as props, sending all sorts of military
vehicles through the streets (M1A1 Abrams tanks, Bradley Fighting
vehicles, Strykers and Paladins), and flying 50 military planes and
helicopters overhead.^2
This would be a dangerous display for a president using law enforcement,
the FBI, and military to flout the rule of law and persecute his political
opponents.
This is not what our taxpayer dollars should be spent on, especially as
Trump and DOGE slash government services, including health care for
Veterans and Social Security for seniors.
