John, Two Israeli diplomats, including a Christian, were assassinated in cold blood on the streets of D.C. by a Hamas sympathizer screaming, "Free Palestine." The EVIL lie dehumanizing Israelis and the Jewish people – one that led to Oct. 7 and the D.C. assassinations has also been on full display at the U.N. and the International Criminal Court (ICC).
The ICC issued arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel's former defense minister. This lawless weaponization of international law to further Hamas' goal of the devastation and destruction of Israel is horrific and disgusting. The ACLJ submitted a first round of briefs to the ICC to fight back, and in a huge breakthrough, the ICC appellate court is forcing the lower chamber to actually consider Israel's legal arguments. The ACLJ is mobilizing our offices in Jerusalem and Europe to prepare a new round of ICC amicus briefs to defend Israel's right to defend itself – to exist as a Jewish nation. We also just sent 59 legal demands to the U.N. Secretary-General, ICC Prosecutor, and world leaders in defense of Israel, and we are preparing a new written legal submission to the U.N.
