** HSE finally admits it discriminated against pro-life counselling agencies
------------------------------------------------------------
The HSE has admitted that it completely changed its approach to pregnancy counselling on foot of the new abortion law coming into effect, leading to the suspension of all state funding to agencies that support women during an unplanned pregnancy but refuse to facilitate ending the lives of unborn babies through abortion.
On Wednesday, in reply to a parliamentary question submitted by Independent TD Carol Nolan, the HSE conceded that it “changed the model of service delivery in line with the introduction of Termination of Pregnancy services and some services were unable to operate in that framework due to their ethos.” By defunding these highly respected life-affirming groups, the State carried out a reckless ideological purge disguised as legitimate
policy.

RTÉ misleads on clinic bombing, stays silent after false pro-life link debunked
Authorities have identified a 25-year-old man as the suspect in last Saturday’s fatal bombing at a Southern California fertility clinic, stating he was motivated by a radical anti-life ideology opposed to human reproduction - a disturbing motive that directly attacked the value of human life.
Guy Edward Bartkus from California who died in the explosion was named by the FBI as the primary suspect in the explosion at the American Reproductive Centers in Palm Springs, which authorities are investigating as an intentional act of terrorism. The blast caused extensive damage to the clinic and surrounding businesses, though the facility’s embryo lab remained unharmed.
Bartkus allegedly wrote a manifesto that includes the line: “We need a war against pro-lifers.”
FBI Assistant Director Akil Davis, speaking at a news conference, described Bartkus’ views as “nihilistic ideations” and confirmed the attack was deliberately aimed at the IVF facility.
RTÉ covered the story before the identity or motivation of the alleged bomber was revealed. They wasted no time in speculating that the attacker may have been pro-life, saying: “Reproductive care, including abortion and fertility services, remains controversial in the United States, where some conservatives believe the procedures should be outlawed for religious reasons.”

Labour MP Tonia Antoniazzi
MPs in Westminster to vote on allowing abortion up-to-birth for any reason
MPs in the House of Commons will soon vote on a proposed legal change, introduced by Labour MP Tonia Antoniazzi, that would mark the most significant shift in UK abortion law since the 1967 Abortion Act. If passed, this amendment could allow healthy babies to be aborted for any reason - including sex-selective abortion - right up until birth.
Polling by ComRes reveals that just 1% of women support abortion up to birth, while 91% believe the law should explicitly ban sex-selective abortion.

National Pilgrimage for Life
The second annual National Pilgrimage for Life, organised by the Council for Life of the Irish Catholic Bishops’ Conference, will be celebrated on Saturday 21st June in Knock Shrine with Mass at 3.00pm in the Basilica. Anointing of the Sick will take place during Mass.
Organisers of the event say: “We very much look forward to this National Pilgrimage for Life, which gives us the opportunity, as advocates for life, to draw strength and inspiration from Mary, who is mother of Jesus and mother of the Church. Central to our pilgrimage will be the Eucharist which nourishes us through life as well as being a particular source of strength to the sick and the dying. We invite you to join us in Knock to celebrate the gift of life and to pray for the protection of all human life.”
