John, it's Colin Allred, former U.S. Representative and candidate for U.S. Senate. I’m personally reaching out to you on behalf of my friend, Gina Ortiz Jones. I’ll cut to the chase: All eyes are on San Antonio’s mayoral race right now. San Antonians face a critical choice on June 7th — a choice between dedicated public servant and fearless leader Gina Ortiz Jones or Greg Abbott’s hand-picked puppet.
Throughout Gina’s career in public service, she has demonstrated a true commitment to accountability to the people she serves. As Under Secretary of the Air Force, she led our courageous service members to do the Nation’s work with urgency. Military City USA deserves a leader who will fight for them and tackle their biggest issues with that same urgency. I’m confident that Gina will be that leader with the experience and skills she brings to the table. Because, like Gina always says, there is no time to waste, John. But she’s up against Greg Abbott’s former Secretary of State, and he’s ready to put Donald Trump, Elon Musk, and Greg Abbott’s wants before the real needs of San Antonians. That’s why Greg Abbott, Republican super PACs, and shady extremist megadonors are going ALL IN to buy this race, and that’s why I’m reaching out to you today. Gina is ready to win this race, defeat a MAGA extremist, and push San Antonio forward. But she’s relying on grassroots supporters like you to power her campaign and help her cross the finish line in less than 16 days. She can’t fight back without your immediate support.
