Early this morning, the House passed its budget reconciliation bill that includes about $300 billion in cuts to SNAP. These are the most extreme cuts proposed in the
program's history - and they put millions of kids and families at greater risk of hunger and hardship.
This is devastating news, but our fight is far from over.
Even though the House has passed the bill, it now moves to the Senate
- where changes can still be made before it returns to the House
for a final vote.
