Hi friend,
This is about people, not politics.
Last night, House Republicans passed a budget that slashes critical programs for children and families – including the Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP) and Medicaid.
Together, CHIP and Medicaid provide health care coverage to more than 37 million children nationwide. That's 37 million kids who can see a doctor when they're sick, get preventive care, and access mental health services.
Children’s health should never be left to chance. That’s why expanding Medicaid and signing CHIP into law was a critical bipartisan accomplishment of the Clinton administration – and why supporting children and families is a core part of our work today.
We believe every child deserves a strong start in life and our work reflects these values: supporting healthy development and thriving communities. We need your voice and support now — add your name to show that every child deserves a strong start. |
