Dear Friend,
May is Endangered Species Month, so we're coming together to defend our planet's most vulnerable wildlife — and the ecosystems they call home.
Species like the grizzly, monarch butterfly, blue whale, and the Tennessee purple coneflower are on the brink of extinction. But instead of strengthening protections, Trump and extremist politicians are working to gut the Endangered Species Act and open up or sell off critical habitats for corporate profit.
Just this morning, House Republicans advanced a billionaire budget bill to expand drilling, mining and logging on public lands, repeal incentives for EVs and renewable energy, and make the climate crisis worse – further endangering vulnerable species and our collective future.
But none of these fights are over. We can't let them succeed.
Join us virtually on Thursday, May 29 at 6 pm ET / 3 pm PT for a special Endangered Species Month Action Hour to learn how you can take meaningful action to safeguard biodiversity, and protect the wildlife we love.

In each Sierra Club Action Hour, you'll get the latest updates on Trump's destructive agenda and then take meaningful action against it in just one hour per month.
These interactive meetings take place virtually, so you can join from wherever you live or work and take action alongside hundreds of other Sierra Club advocates. This month, we’ll be writing handwritten letters to our legislators because we know they're a powerful way to move them. We'll also have the option to include a drawing or painting – a great way for kids to get involved in environmental action.
RSVP and join us for this month's virtual Action Hour next Thursday, May 29.
