Wealth hoarding does not keep us safe—our collective power will.
We’re seeing in real time the harm that concentrated wealth hoarding creates. And we’re clearer than ever that for all of us to be safe, we need to build real power together—rooted in community, shared vision, and collective action.
RG’s Spring Drive, running from June 1 - June 30, is one of the core ways we build our collective power. Drives are a part of long history of organizing strategy that we have learned from unions and community groups. Those who came before us continue to show us a way forward in this political moment, and remind us that we must come together and organize for the world we want and need.
Here are 3 ways to take action with us as part of our Spring Drive.
1. Show Up in Community. Take Action. Organize. [[link removed]]
We have an important role to play in funding movement work in this moment. And, money cannot win on its own. If you’re a young person with wealth or class privilege, we’re calling on you to step into your power and join us in organizing our people. It’s our responsibility to refuse to uphold a system built on extraction, exclusion, and exploitation.

This fight is going to take all of us. We are more powerful together. The membership structure that RG has is one that’s proven to aggregate our resources at the scale needed to contest for power against corporations/ government.
3. Lean into your values by boldly redistributing your wealth and funding organizations who are leading the fight. [[link removed]]
We know that donors are navigating fear and overwhelm, and that the isolation and pulling back that comes with that has big impacts. We hear every day from our partners across the movement that organizations are facing real funding challenges. Young people with wealth have the opportunity to lead the way. Take the first step right now by signing the 2025 Redistribution Pledge [[link removed]] and committing to moving at least 10% of your overall redistribution to RG’s national partners, Movement for Black Lives & Popular Democracy.
They want us to be overwhelmed and to give up. But the longer we stay quiet, the more damage they can wreak. Now is the time to use our anger to take us from helplessness to action, from retreating to engaging, from isolation to organizing.
In solidarity,
Julia
Membership Director
