Republicans are pushing to dismantle Medicaid and CHIP, programs that provide health coverage to over 58.9% of Fresno County residents. At the same time, Trump sees no issue with accepting a plane from a country tied to the tragedy of 9/11—putting his greed over our country.
He’s also proposing deep cuts to FEMA and the National Weather Service just as hurricane season begins. This is reckless and dangerous.
Every day brings a new headline that shocks the conscience. The cruelty is relentless. But we are not powerless.
