 Folks, it’s John Hickenlooper. I wanted to make sure you saw this:  Republicans in the House just passed a budget bill that will rip health care away from MILLIONS of hardworking Americans to pay for Trump’s tax giveaway to the ultra-wealthy. Let me be clear. Trump is putting 13.7 million Americans’ health care at risk just to rig the tax code for people like him. That’s more than twice the population of Colorado. When I was Governor of Colorado, we expanded Medicaid and got our state to nearly universal coverage on my watch. I refuse to stand by as they rip away our progress. I’ve already voted against Republican cuts to Medicaid twice, and I’m fighting tooth and nail to stop Republicans from kicking millions of Americans off of their health care. And folks, I’m calling on this grassroots team to help me fight back: Please, can I count on you to add your name to my petition condemning Trump’s disastrous cuts to Medicaid? We need to ratchet up the pressure on all Republicans in the Senate now to stop this bill. →
