I just filed a public records request to expose how Gavin Newsom’s deceptive 65-cent gas price hike was crafted in secret.

We believe the real goal is simple: to jack up gas prices so high that Californians are forced to buy expensive electric vehicles — whether they can afford it or not.

Newsom knows this reckless regulation will hurt working families and drive up costs across the board. That’s exactly why he pushed it through in the shadows.

We fought back with Senate Bill 2 — a bipartisan bill to repeal Newsom’s hidden gas tax and protect Californians from these secret price hikes. Despite broad bipartisan support, radical environmentalists blindly following the governor killed the bill.

When that failed, we didn’t give up. This time, we’re forcing the truth to come out so Californians can judge for themselves and hold their government accountable.

The only way to save California is to keep trying and keep fighting.

I filed this public records request because Californians deserve transparency, not secret gas tax hikes. Exposing the truth is just the first step. We’re putting pressure where it counts, and we won’t stop until we WIN and FIX CALIFORNIA.
