New polling just confirmed what we already knew: The vast majority of Americans believe abortion should be legal in all or most cases! That's why, at EMILYs List, we're building a future where freedom and equality aren't up for debate. But the fight is far from over.

At the state level: We have secured critical wins and flipped state legislatures across the country that directly protect abortion access in the states. That's the power of our community. That's our mission in action.

At the federal level: Despite overwhelming (and consistent!) public support for reproductive freedom, anti-choice Republicans are pushing harder than ever to strip Americans of our fundamental freedoms. U.S. House Republicans and the Trump administration are already coming after mifepristone, telehealth, and IVF.

This is not what our communities want. But we can't sit back and hope Republicans change their minds — we have to organize, mobilize, and take back our power!
