This morning, House Republicans voted to pass President Trump's bill to slash funding for Medicaid, nutrition programs, and other vital programs millions of Americans -- including those in red states -- need to get by. And they did it to fund tax cuts for some of the wealthiest people in America.

That is not hyperbole, that is fact. And when the vote came in, Republicans chanted USA! USA! USA! on the floor of the House.

Shameful.

If you are outraged at what happened and are looking for a way to make House Republicans pay, the Democratic National Committee is looking for lots and lots of donations today to help flip some of those seats.

If that's all you need to hear, contribute here:

Otherwise, here's why we're asking you to give whatever you can afford today.

Because a number of House Republicans who voted yes are in tough, close races -- including several seats where Kamala Harris received more votes than Trump.

Because Trump is telling Republicans to blame Democrats when their constituents lose health care coverage, and the DNC is organizing in every state to help make sure that doesn't happen.

Because the DNC is also leading the charge to take Donald Trump to court on some of the executive orders he has signed.

When the DNC files their next FEC report, it's critical they show a HUGE number of donations today -- to send a message to Republicans when this vote comes up in the Senate and back to the House for final passage.

Please make today the day you contribute to the Democratic National Committee. There is no donation too small, or too large. They will all be put to work holding Trump and Republicans accountable.

Thank you,

Team Kamala
