I introduced an amendment to protect healthcare coverage for children. Republicans rejected it.
Over 38 million children, or 42 percent of all American kids, receive coverage through Medicaid and CHIP. We can’t move forward with policies that strip health coverage from children.
But that’s exactly what Republicans did.
