WASHINGTON, DC – Lawmakers in the House Rules Committee have added the full removal of suppressors from the NFA via a manager’s amendment to the reconciliation bill. It will now head to the House floor for a vote.

This is a major victory!!

It is important to note: This amendment removes suppressors from the NFA. That is the win! It also includes a backup provision to lower the tax on suppressors to $0, in case the Senate Parliamentarian strikes Section 2 of the Hearing Protection Act. Rest assured, we will do EVERYTHING we can to make sure suppressors are removed completely from the NFA!
