WASHINGTON, DC – Today, the American Suppressor Association led a coalition of nearly 40 pro-Second Amendment organizations, medical professionals, and industry representatives in a letter to House Speaker Johnson and Senate Majority Leader Thune urging Congress to include Section 2 of the Hearing Protection Act in the reconciliation bill currently under consideration. If included, this would remove these important safety and hearing protection devices from the unconstitutional tax scheme of the National Firearm Act.
