Friend, Schools might be getting ready to wrap up the school year, but at Stand with Parkland - The National Association of Families for Safe Schools, the start of summer doesn’t mark the end of our mission. Don’t be mistaken: we’ve made great progress so far this year. The Florida legislature passed CS/HB 1403, which is now awaiting the Governor’s signature. This bill expands upon existing school safety measures and enhances the behavioral threat assessment protocols crucial to keeping students and teachers safe. But the work we’re doing now is more important than ever— firearm deaths, including suicide, spike during the summer months. That’s more than 3 months where it’s vital for us to be out on the ground, spreading awareness about suicide prevention, safe firearms storage, and advocating for further public safety reforms. We can’t do that without your support. Friend, we’re just getting started. Will you chip in $15 so that we can reach our monthly goal? Every donation goes directly to power our work so that we can continue advocating for safer schools, even during the summer. Thank you for helping us make a difference. — Stand with Parkland
