Friend, I am writing to you with a profound sense of urgency. The United Nations recently issued the devastating warning that one in five people in Gaza — including thousands of babies and children — could starve without immediate, life-saving humanitarian relief.
This unbearable news comes after more than 11 weeks of the blockade that has cut off critical access to food and medical support for thousands of people — daughters, brothers, mothers, fathers, and babies.
Our Project HOPE clinics in Gaza are seeing up to 42% of pregnant and lactating mothers severely malnourished in the last two weeks alone — increasing the risk of complications such as premature birth, low birth weight, and maternal mortality. And for many children, emergency nutritional supplements have become their only source of survival.
Friend, we must never accept the normalization of human suffering. As global citizens — and as a father myself — we must relentlessly advocate for babies and families...for health and HOPE. We must stand up for those facing immense suffering right now in Gaza or in other crisis zones around the world.
So please, don’t wait. Rush an emergency gift to help ensure our clinic doors in Gaza stay open to the women and children whose lives depend on it, and so we can continue our lifesaving work in other crisis zones, wherever the need is greatest.
