Voters are angry, John.
They want to see their politicians take a stand against Trump, but are starting to realize that corporate Democrats are simply not up to the challenge of taking on Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
So it’s no surprise that we’re seeing a rise in everyday people taking on the Justice Democrats model of launching primary campaigns to challenge establishment incumbents across the country. New York Magazine published a new article about this rising trend, and we’re thrilled to see it.
At Justice Democrats, challenging out of touch corporate incumbents has been our mission since day one. We’ve been taking on entrenched incumbents and replacing them with bold progressive leaders since 2017—more than eight years!
The energy we’re seeing nationwide is exactly the sort of movement we have been building and trying to inspire communities to do since our start.
The stakes could not be higher, and corporate Democrats are not delivering.
As our Communications Director, Usamah Andrabi, told New York Magazine: “Voters are starting to understand that a lot of Democratic officeholders just fucking suck and are not up to the challenge of taking on Elon Musk and Donald Trump. Voters want to see a fight, but instead they have politicians who barely show up.”
People are hungry for leadership, and together we can deliver. Our track record speaks for itself, but we’re only able to help elect leaders like Rashida Tlaib or Ilhan Omar because of your grassroots support.
Thank you for being a key part of this movement.
In solidarity,
Justice Democrats
