I'm saddened today to share the news of the passing of our Congressman Gerry Connolly.
When I was studying for my undergraduate degree at George Mason University, I had the opportunity to take a popular course taught by Congressman Connolly and his predecessor, former Congressman Tom Davis. We are not only losing a valued public servant, but someone who took tremendous pride in being a public servant. From the Fairfax County Board of Supervisors to the United States Congress, Gerry was always thinking about his constituents' best interests. Please keep Gerry's family in your thoughts and prayers.
