Dear Sisters and Brothers,

As you read this, Congress is closer than ever to gutting Medicaid to help pay for tax cuts for the ultra-rich and for mega corporations.

If these cuts go through, it will be devastating. Millions of working families will have their health care ripped away from them. Hospitals will close. Thousands of health care professionals will be laid off. 

Californians, already struggling to pay the bills, will be saddled with crippling debt in order to get the medical care they need. 

This cannot, MUST NOT be allowed to happen!

It’s time to call your House representative at 231-400-0602 and tell them to VOTE NO on slashing Medicaid.
