Republicans are pushing a new round of Trump tax cuts for billionaires and
corporations.

The GOP wants to strip money from critical government programs like
Medicaid and SNAP to fund these trillions in tax cuts. Rep. Alexandria
Ocasio-Cortez said Republicans are “robbing people” of their tax dollars
and handing them over to billionaires.^1

If Trump gets to sign his “big, beautiful bill,” over a trillion dollars
will go directly from the social safety net to tax cuts for the rich.
Congress must stop this bill before it gets to Trump.

While the wealthiest Americans hoard record-breaking fortunes, millions of
families are already struggling with the cost of housing, food,
healthcare, and child care. Instead of delivering real relief to working
people, this bill doubles down on the failed economic policies that have
hollowed out the middle class, deepened inequality, and hurt the quality
of social services.

Trump has spent his second term focused on slashing social services and
government agencies that people need — the Social Security Administration
that provides so many seniors with income, the Consumer Financial
Protection Bureau that keeps predatory corporations from taking advantage
of people, and so much more.

This bill would be another big win for the rich and corporations, and a
major loss for the services people rely on – the healthcare and food
assistance millions of people need.

We’ve seen this GOP tax scam before. We need to stop Trump tax cuts 2.0
