Team, I have a question for you: How morally bankrupt is a political party that tries to pay for tax breaks for billionaires by taking food away from hungry kids — and kicking families off their health care? Because that’s exactly what Republicans are pushing right now. Their latest budget is a full-scale attack on working families, slashing essential programs so the ultra-wealthy and powerful corporations can get even more tax breaks. Budgets are a reflection of our values, team, and Republicans have made theirs crystal clear: billionaires first, everyone else last. I am fighting to protect programs that seniors, children, and families rely on. Republicans think that makes me and my fellow Democrats weak, but they are wrong.
