Hey John,
Opill Qs? Ask A Doc - No Appointment Needed
By now, most of us know about Opill, the first over-the-counter birth control pill in the US. But if you still have some questions you’re not sure how to answer, don’t fret! We’ve got both a doctor and an actual Opill user to answer all your burning questions.
Join the Busybodies Club on Wednesday, May 28th at 5pm ET for our first event, All About Opill! Whether you’re doing peer-to-peer distribution or sex education, we'll equip you with the facts about Opill, the first over-the-counter birth control pill, to share in your community. We’ll be joined by Dr. Lin-Fan Wang, a board-certified family medicine physician, and Sriha Srinivasan, a member of the #FreeThePill youth council and Opill user to answer all your questions about Opill.
Dr. Lin-Fan Wang (name/she/他) is a family physician and a member of the #FreeThePill Steering Committee. Dr. Wang’s experiences as a queer Taiwanese American femme informs her clinical and advocacy work in sexual and reproductive health, LGBTQ+ health, and adolescent health.
Sriha Srinivasan (she/her) is a first year medical student at George Washington, a member of the #FreeThePill Youth Council with Advocates for Youth, and the creator of @sexedu on TikTok. She is most passionate about advocating for birth control access, comprehensive sex education, and combatting medical misinformation in sexual health. She hopes to become an OB-GYN and the first in her family to become a physician.
