John, as Trump tried to wrangle House Republicans to pass his “big, beautiful bill” yesterday – which cuts more than $700 BILLION from Medicaid – he also made clear what we already knew: he will stoop to new lows to hurt his political enemies, regardless of the impact on every day Americans. And his new target? Dem govs.
That’s right. Donald Trump is using his budget to spite Dem govs.
From holding him accountable for his disastrous tariffs to taking him to court – and winning, Democratic governors are leading the fight against Trump’s dangerous agenda. Now Trump is going out of his way to target Democratic governors and their states – and he’s even enlisting help from his Republican trifecta in Washington.
It’s obvious: Dem govs will always fight for their states. Donald Trump will only fight for Donald Trump.
