In the dead of night, while Republicans were holding their 1am hearing on their big ugly bill to cut Medicaid to pay for tax cuts for the ultra-rich, the Congressional Budget Office confirmed $500 billion in across-the-board cuts to Medicare.1
We already knew that this bill contained the destruction of Medicaid. But now we know that there are $500 billion in cuts to Medicare as well!
