I’m going to be straight up with you. The status quo isn’t good enough in New Jersey.

• Costs for basic needs like groceries and housing are rising every day.
• It’s getting harder and harder to access the opportunity to build a middle-class life.
• At the same time, Donald Trump and Elon Musk are selling us out to give tax breaks to the ultra-wealthy.

And people are tired of hearing the same old talking points over and over again. They’re tired of excuses and finger-pointing. They’re tired of leaders passing the buck on and on again, throwing up their hands and saying these challenges are too hard.

It doesn’t have to be this way. Here in New Jersey, we can build more housing to make our state more affordable, incentivize municipalities to share services to bring down property taxes, support our teachers and schools to lift kids up post-pandemic, and much more.

At the very same time, we can fight the chaos in Washington through a strategy of legislation, litigation, and mobilization.

Because we need to fight for our democracy *and* make New Jerseyans’ lives easier and more affordable.

But to do all of this, we need real leaders who are ready to roll up their sleeves and take on the fight. That’s exactly why I’m running.
