Join Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine at Nowhere Bookshop in San Antonio from 6:30-8 pm this Thursday, May 22 for a 'Wild Night' of conversation with author Jennifer Bristol and regular Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine birding contributor, Romey Swanson. Seats are first come, first served. Both casual spectators and competitive spirits are welcome! 📚🪶

Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is launching a new podcast — “Better Outside.” Podcast listeners will travel the woods and waters of Texas through an array of awe-inspiring stories about conservation, recreation and the outdoors.   The show is hosted by Morgan O’Hanlon, senior writer at Texas Parks & Wildlife magazine, and TPWD Executive Director David Yoskowitz. Bird Bingo is back!

Starting this month, we're proud to present the second annual round of Bird Bingo, a months-long game in which participants attempt to achieve a “bingo” and win prizes by spotting birds listed on one of several regional bingo cards.
