john,
Let’s be clear: mifepristone, the main medication used for abortion, is safe.
But that isn't stopping HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from leading the charge to try and label mifepristone—which has been effective and FDA-approved for over 20 years—as "dangerous."
And the “evidence” he’s using?
A report that wasn’t peer-reviewed, wasn’t published in any medical journal, and was put out by a far-right think tank connected to Trump’s Project 2025 playbook. It claims to find 22 times more serious complications from mifepristone than the FDA’s own data—a number that no credible doctor, scientist, or public health expert agrees with…including Kim.
This isn’t science, it’s politics dressed up as research. And it’s part of a broader, dangerous attempt to undermine and chip away at abortion access and take health decisions out of the hands of women and their doctors. Kim has called out RFK before for pushing junk science and conspiracy theories, and she's not going to stop calling him on his bu**s**t any time soon.
If you stand with Kim and believe that healthcare decisions should be based on facts—not fake studies or extremist agendas—chip in $5 today, to help us keep fighting back against the nonsense coming out of Washington, D.C. >> [link removed]
